Dmytro Fialka, a children's football coach, died in the war with the Russian invaders.

This was reported by the branch of the NOC of Ukraine in the Lviv region.

Fialka worked as a coach of the U-16 team in the Ukrainian Premier League club Lviv, and previously he was a senior coach of Dynamo Lviv FC.

Dmytro Fialka went to defend Ukraine immediately after the start of a full-scale invasion of Russia. He was 39 years old.

“The Olympic family of the Lviv region sincerely sympathizes with the relatives, friends, colleagues and pupils of the deceased. Eternal memory to the Hero of Ukraine,” the NOC of Ukraine said in a statement.
