Ukrainian midfielder Denys Kostyshyn could get volunteer status in order to leave the country and move to the American club “El Paso Lokomotiv “.
According to journalist Andrii Senkiv, the 25-year-old football player managed to leave Ukraine using the “Path” system as a volunteer. It is noted that other clients of the agent Vadym Shabli used a similar method.
The “Path” is a special system that allows drivers of draft age to cross the border and carry out transportation for the needs of the Armed Forces, as well as to carry medicine and humanitarian aid.
Let us remind you that Denys Kostyshyn became a free agent on December 3 after terminating his contract with “Alexandria”. On December 5, it became known about the transfer of the Ukrainian to the American club.
“El Paso” was founded in 2018 and plays in the Western Conference of the USL Championship. The club has another Ukrainian – midfielder Artem Kholod.
