FIFA has announced a list of 36 referees and 69 assistant referees who will serve the matches of the 2022 World Cup /strong> in Qatar.

For the first time in the history of the World Cup, the list includes three women who will be the main referees, as well as three assistant referees.

At the 2022 World Cup, the main referees will work Frenchwoman Stephanie Frappar, who has already served in the Champions League and Euro qualifiers, as well as Salim Mukansang from Rwanda (worked in the African Cup of Nations) and Japanese Yoshimi Yamashita (Asian Champions League).

The tournament will feature two referees from England (Anthony Taylor and Michael Oliver), Brazil (Rafael Klaus and Wilton Sampaio) and Argentina (Facundo Tello and Fernando Rapalini). Spain is represented by Mateu Laos, Italy by Daniele Orsato, Germany by Daniel Siebert.

The World Cup in Qatar will be held from November 21 to December 18, 2022 year in seven cities: Doha, Lusaili, Al-Wakre, Al-Hore, Al-Rayani, Umm Salalah and Madinat al-Shamali.

The national team of Ukraine can go to Qatar. Due to the Russian invasion, our semi-final clash against Scotland was postponed from March to June 1.
