New details of the semi-final match of the playoffs at the 2022 World Cup Scotland – Ukraine have become known.
According to” Tatotake ” , UEFA offered UAF to hold the match Scotland – Ukraine not on June 7, but on May 31 or June 1.
Most likely, the Ukrainian side will choose the date of the match on June 1, as one extra day of training plays an important role.
UEFA also proposed to make this dual-purpose match so that its result would be included in both the 2022 World Cup qualifiers and the League of Nations (the match between Scotland and Ukraine in the League of Nations was to take place on June 7).
It will be recalled that the 2022 World Cup qualifier was scheduled for March, but was postponed due to Russia's military invasion of Ukraine. The venue will be Glasgow.
The winner of the pair will play Wales in the final. The World Cup in Qatar will be held from November 21 to December 18, 2022.
