The European Olympic Committees are in no hurry to return the representatives of the aggressor and his partner.
The Union of Olympic Committees of Europe (EOC) reported that athletes from Russia and Belarus will not perform at the European Games -2023.
The statement was published on the official website of the organization.
“Sports is fairest when all athletes have the opportunity to compete. The EOC Athletes' Commission will continue to discuss how this should happen .
To avoid misunderstandings, any possible decisions regarding the potential participation of athletes from Russia and Belarus will not apply to the 2023 European Games in Krakow. As stated in November 2022, their participation is not possible under the current conditions.” – said in the statement of the EOC.
III European Games will be held from June 21 to July 2.
