Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko will not help the Ukrainian national football team in the September matches of the League of Nations due to an injury, reports UAF.

The footballer will not help the national team due to damage to the calf muscle.

Zinchenko was injured at Arsenal's training session and will now be recovering for about two weeks.

In September, the Ukrainian national team will play three meetings in the framework of the League of Nations – twice against Scotland (September 21 and 27) and away to Armenia (September 24).

Recall that 25-year-old Oleksandr Zinchenko moved to Arsenal from Manchester City this summer for a fee of around 30 million pounds. Another two million are registered as bonuses.
