Ukrainian defender Yaroslav Rakytskyi left the Turkish “Adana Demirspor”.

“Thank you to “Adana” for their support in a difficult time period. I am grateful to the club, the president, the coach and the fans. Our cooperation has been terminated,” wrote Rakytskyi on his page in social networks.

Let us remind you that Yaroslav Rakytskyi is a pupil of Shakhtar and played for the “miners” in the period from 2006 to 2019, after which he moved to St. Petersburg “Zenit”.

After the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, the defender terminated the contract with the Russian club and left the territory of the Russian Federation.

The media reported, that Rakitsky can sign a contract with Shakhtar, but the transfer failed due to the decision of the player and his family, and the player himself transferred to Adan Demirspor in July.

For the Turkish club, the 33-year-old Rakitsky played eight matches in the Super League and one match in the Cup of the country, making one goal assist.
