Five North Korean drones crossed South Korean territory on Monday, prompting Seoul to raise fighter jets and attack helicopters and to try to shoot them down.

According to Yoon, this incident highlighted the lack of training and readiness of the South Korean military, even despite previous incursions.

As we reported the day before, Seoul's air defenses carried out more than 100 shots, but not a single DPRK drone was shot down.
