Ukraine plans to join the Single Roaming Space of the EU.
This year, Ukraine can officially join the EU roaming zone. Radio Svoboda journalist Rikard Jozvyak reported this on Twitter.
“A high-ranking EU official confirms that the legislation allowing Ukraine to become part of the European zone free from mobile roaming may be adopted this year,” the message says.

“We hope for progress in the issue of Ukraine joining the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) and joining the Single Roaming Space. The issue of “industrial visa-free” remains on our agenda, the prime minister said.
For the first time, the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen announced last year that Ukraine would join the roaming zone of the European Union in his annual address “On the State of the Union” to the European Parliament.
“We will introduce Ukraine into our free European roaming zone. It's time to do it,” she promised.
