Singer Beyoncé became the most decorated Grammy artist of all time, winning her 32nd award for Best Renaissance Dance/Electronic Album. She said at the ceremony that she was “just trying to take the night in,” reports The Guardian.

The singer won four Grammys for the said album, bringing her career total to 32. That surpassed the late classical conductor Georg Sholto's wins. He made his debut as a conductor in Budapest in 1938 on the day of the Anschluss of Austria. Sholto's recordings have been awarded the Grammy Award more than three dozen times, this achievement is included in the Guinness Book of Records.

“I'm trying not to get too emotional. I'm just trying to take this night in,” Beyoncé said. “I want to thank God for protection. Thank you, God.”

The artist's competitors were Bad Bunny, Styles, singer and flutist Lizzo, British vocalist Adele and Swedish disco-era hitmaker ABBA.

The Grammy Award show was broadcast live on the CBS network and streaming service Paramount+.

Laureates were chosen by approximately 11,000 members of the Recording Academy.
