The organizers of the International Book Arsenal Festival have stated that they have decided not to hold it in May this year. This is stated on the website of the event.

“One and a half months have passed since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, and today we are forced to announce that the Art Arsenal team has made an obvious but difficult decision: the Book Arsenal International Festival will not take place in May 2022. The Ukrainian people are courageously defending the country, repelling the enemy on various fronts, and we all understand that we still need time for the final victory, “the statement said.

It is also noted that at the moment the main goal is to work to preserve the institution and the team, and therefore, to support the book and its audience, work to win. After the victory, the team will return to the organization of the XI Book Arsenal.
