"Children need their childhood back": Goodwill ambassador and actor Orlando Bloom came to Ukraine

Ambassador of goodwill of UNICEF and actor Orlando Bloom arrived in Ukraine, which he reported in Instagram itself. He came to support Ukrainian children.

“Today I arrived in Ukraine for the first time after a trip since 2016. Since I was here, I could not even imagine that the war could spread to the whole country. But today I was lucky enough to hear children's laughter at the children's point “Together” run by UNICEF, a safe, warm and cozy place where children can play, learn and receive psychosocial support. The word “Together” means “together” in Ukrainian, and there are more than 180 such centers here, Bloom wrote on his page.

According to the actor, the center he visited was opened in one of the metro stations – underground for the safety of children.

“For a few hours every day, parents can leave their young children here and give them a sense of normality, the opportunity to play games and just be kids. There are also plenty of arts and crafts supplies for children to express themselves creatively, away from the pressures that build up in a war zone. Children in Ukraine need their childhood back,” added Orlando Bloom.
