Good prospects: the expert told when prices will stabilize

Due to the war started by Russia, the Ukrainian economy is seriously suffering and prices are rising rapidly. But despite all the difficulties, there are prospects for changing the situation for the better.

Economist, director of the Center for Economic Strategy Hleb Vyshlinskyi believes that there is no need to shift the hryvnia exchange rate, thanks to significant inflows of currency from international partners, such as aid to Ukraine, writes Channel 24.

But, according to him, it is worth waiting for the calculations of the impact of the strikes on the energy infrastructure. “Inflation has declined everywhere in the world. There was a jump even in those countries where there is no war. In the countries of Eastern Europe, inflation reached 20%, despite the fact that in Ukraine it is now approaching 30% on an annual basis,” the expert said.< /p>

According to the economist, prices for gas, oil and oil products are currently falling all over the world. Because of this, the growth of food prices is inhibited. In Ukraine, we should also expect a decrease in inflationary pressure, but a new factor has appeared – strikes on the energy industry.

Glib Vyshlinsky believes that the mass use of generators is a good sign of the stability of Ukrainian business and people, but this leads to an increase in food prices. But, in his opinion, as soon as Ukraine survives the winter, we can wait for the stabilization of prices.

“The effects of logistics restrictions and expensive electricity, which is obtained from generators, and not from the highly efficient power generation that was working, will be exhausted in normal mode before the Russian terrorist attacks,” he concluded.
