In case of a blackout in the country, people had a reserve of cash funds for 7-14 days. Vasyl Nevmerzhitskyi, a financial analyst and adviser to the chairman of the board of Creditvest bank, told about this, writes “Obozryevatel”.

“You need to have cash for 7 days. Therefore, you take the expenses for a month and calculate how much you spend in one day. What you get per day – multiply by 7 days. And even better with a reserve – twice as much – for 14 days” , – said Nevmerzytskyi.

He also added that in Ukraine, in terms of cash withdrawals, not only ATMs and bank branches are available, but also gas stations, shops, supermarkets , pharmacies, etc.

As a reminder, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) appealed to banks with an initiative to implement “ATM national roaming”. commissions for cash withdrawals by cardholders of other banks at ATMs.

The largest banks have already joined this initiative.

Earlier, the Secretary of the NSDC, Oleksiy Danilov, reported that Ukraine was preparing for enemy attacks on the banking system.

It was also reported that the National Bank plans to create the “Bank of Invincibility”, which is based on no less than 1,000 bank branches, which will be operationally united in fact into one network, which works in conditions of an extremely critical situation.
