“The threat of targeting the reactor with possible consequences – a nuclear catastrophe – was high again,” the report says.

The incident occurred on February 18, during another massive Russian missile attack. At 8:25 a.m. and 8:27 a.m., the flights of two enemy cruise missiles were recorded over the South Ukrainian NPP.

The aerial objects were moving along the Southern Bug River in the direction of Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv region, and flew dangerously close to a nuclear facility.

“This is another act of nuclear terrorism by the Russian Federation, which threatens the security of the whole world. We once again appeal to the IAEA with the demand to take all possible measures to stop the nuclear terrorism of the Russian Federation, the withdrawal of Russian military formations from the territory of the Zaporizhzhia station and the establishment of a demilitarized zone around it, as well as a no-fly zone over all nuclear facilities of Ukraine,” the message says.

We remind you that during the year of the war, similar incidents occurred at all Ukrainian nuclear power plants without exception.

In August a rocket attack on Voznesensk came near the Southern Ukrainian NPP.

At the beginning of September the occupiers again hit rockets in dangerous proximity to the South Ukrainian NPP.

In November the South Ukrainian and Khmelnytsky NPPs urgently shut down the power units due to a decrease in the network frequency.
