Ukrainian singer and songwriter Jerry Heil won the prestigious music award MME Awards 2023, which represents the modern and future sound of Europe. This was reported by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy.
The singer was awarded in the Public Choice Award category, in which the audience makes a choice by voting. Jerry Heil will also receive a prize of €5,000 and a live performance at the Deezer studio.

It is worth noting that Ukrainian musicians have received this prestigious award for the third time in a row. Previous laureates were alyona alyona and Alina Pash.

The MME Awards is a transformation of the European Border Breakers Awards (EBBA) and the Music Moves Europe Talent Award (MMETA), which have been awarded by the EU since 2004. Previously, such artists as Stromae, Adele, Mumford & Sons, Dua Lipa, Rosalia, Meduza, Lous and Yakuza, Inhaler received the award.
