The mayor of Kyiv said what he was doing to restore normal life in the Ukrainian capital.

“For me, the main task is to ensure a normal life for Kyiv. And the main priority for all Ukrainians and Kyivites is security. He recalled how during a visit by UN Secretary-General Antonio Gutteres to Kyiv, the Russian army shelled the Ukrainian capital. According to Klitschko, the explosions killed people “a few kilometers from the meeting place” of the UN Secretary General with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

Klitschko also said how many people have already returned to Kyiv. According to him, before the full-scale invasion of Russia in the capital lived 3.5 million people. However, due to Russian aggression, most women and children have moved to safer places.
