The presidents of Belarus and Russia held telephone talks on Sunday evening, during which three blocks of issues of Belarusian-Russian cooperation were discussed. This is reported by BelTA.

In the first block, the presidents “discussed further actions within the framework of the Union State to ensure the security of Belarus and Russia”.

Also, Lukashenko and Putin agreed to determine the date of the meeting in the near future.

“Its main goal will be control over the execution by the two governments of the orders given by the presidents earlier. First of all, in the field of import substitution and in all directions of anti-sanction cooperation. The second block of questions in the conversation between Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin was devoted to this,” – the press service noted.

The third block of questions concerned the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State, which will be held in February, and preparations for meeting of the Supreme State Council – in April-May.

At the meeting, it is expected that the agreements will be formalized, relevant documents will be signed.

As reported, on January 19, the European Parliament voted to create establishment of a special international tribunal to prosecute the crime of aggression against Ukraine committed by the political and military leadership of Russia.
