Consultants of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) today unanimously voted to recommend the use of Novavax's NVAX.O COVID-19 vaccine for people over the age of 18, reports “Voice of America” .
This vaccine has been approved by the CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). CDC Director Rochelle Walensky still has to sign off on the recommendations before the vaccine becomes available in the US.
