The President of the Russian Federation scared the businessmen that they are nobody in the West and will be perceived as second class people there.
During his message to the federal assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to submit additional measures to de-offshore the economy. At the same time, he stated that companies should work in Russian jurisdiction, because for the West, according to Putin, businessmen from the Russian Federation are second class.
“Everyone has a choice. Someone will want to live out their old age in a foreclosed mansion with blocked accounts. This is the right of any person. But the time has come to understand that for the West, such people were and will remain second-class foreigners with whom you can do anything you want… It is time to understand that Russian businessmen-emigrants will remain second-class foreigners for the West, even if they buy the titles of sirs and perves.” – said Putin..
At the same time, according to the president of the country in which all kinds of rights are being violated, there is another choice – “to be with one's homeland”.
“Work for compatriots. Not only to open new businesses, but also to change the lives around you. And there are many such fighters in business. The future belongs to them,” Putin said.
At the same time, the Russian president initially stated that “none of the ordinary citizens of the country felt sorry for those who lost their capital in foreign banks, who lost yachts, palaces, etc.” And after that, addressing the businessmen who lost the wealth mentioned above, he said: “Now you should not try to condemn something. You are strong people who have gone through a strong school – invest in Russia, help schools and universities. That's how you earn people's favor”.
