Russia's supply of hundreds of Iranian UAVs: Biden's national security adviser revealed the details of the agreements between Moscow and Tehran

According to national security adviser Jake Sullivan and judging by satellite images obtained exclusively by CNN, a Russian delegation was visiting an airfield in the central Irani at least twice in the last month to inspect combat drones to equip the Russian army.

Iran began demonstrating to Russia the Shahed-191 (a review of this drone is in the video below) and Shahed-129 drones at the Kashan airfield south of Tehran in June, the TV channel reported, citing its own sources. Both types of drones are capable of carrying high-precision missiles.

“We have information that the Iranian government is preparing to provide Russia with several hundred UAVs, including combat ones,” Sullivan said in a comment.

“We believe that an official Russian government delegation recently attended a presentation of Iranian combat (capable of attacking) UAVs,” Sullivan added. – We are publishing these images taken in June, which show Iranian UAVs that were inspected by the Russian delegation that day. This shows that Russia is interested in acquiring such UAVs in Iran.”

Sullivan said that as far as the US knows, the June visit “was the first time that a Russian delegation visited this airfield for such a presentation.” And later, on July 5, the Russian delegation again visited the airfield for a similar demonstration.

This news appeared against the background of Biden completing his trip to the Middle The East, where Iran has been a key topic of discussion between the US, Israel, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states.
