After the massive departure of men due to the announcement of mobilization for the war in Ukraine, Russia announced plans to open a mobilization point in the near future at the Verkhniy Lars checkpoint on the border between Russia and Georgia. “A mobilization point of the Military Commissariat will be deployed at the checkpoint in the near future,” the message reads.
