Kyiv Solomianskyi court sentenced 21-year-old Russian soldier Vadim Shishimarin, who is accused of killing an unarmed civilian Ukrainian, to life imprisonment. The court session was broadcast by the Public newspaper.

During the sentencing, the judge noted that the occupier's cooperation with the investigation was taken into account. The verdict can be appealed within the next 30 days.

Shishimarin himself fully admitted his guilt.
