Shmyhal: “The occupiers will do everything to leave Ukrainians without electricity by the New Year”

The head of the government called to prepare for new possible missile attacks by the Russian Federation.

Shmyhal:

The occupiers will do everything to leave Ukrainians without electricity until the New Year, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.

“It is important for them that Christmas and New Year in Ukraine was in the dark. That's why we have to prepare for new attacks,” the head of government said.

According to him, due to the regular attacks of the Russian Federation on the energy system, it is simply impossible to make any predictions regarding the restoration of stable energy supply.

“Local authorities should also not create inflated expectations. After all, in parallel with the attack against our energy industry, Russia is conducting informational and psychological operations to sow panic and despair,” Shmyhal added.
