Maria Mykolaichuk (Karpyuk) was born on April 8, 1941 in the village of Vytylivka, Kitsman district, Chernivtsi region. She graduated from a studio at the Chernivtsi Music and Drama Theater named after Olga Kobylyanska, where she worked as an actress. In 1961, she began to sing in the Ukrainian People's Choir named after Hryhoriy Veryovka. Later, Maria Mykolaichuk was a member of the folk vocal trio “Golden Keys” (with Nina Matvienko and Valentina Kowalska).

With this composition, they starred in the films “Lost Diploma”, “Girls' Dreams”, “Golden Keys Trio”, etc.
