Despite the war and the difficult economic situation, Ukrainians receive pensions, social benefits and subsidies for the payment of housing and communal services. The Pension Fund of Ukraine explained in which case the documents for its appointment will have to be submitted again.

This is possible in a situation when the mailed application for subsidy assignment or declaration was not signed. It was noted there that the housing subsidy will be assigned after the applicant signs the sent documents.

The absence of a signature on the specified documents is considered an error. To correct the error, 30 calendar days are given from the date of submission of the application. The applicant is informed about this in any way:

  • in a personal conversation;
  • by mail;
  • by SMS message;
  • by letter to e-mail;
  • message through the web portal of the electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine or through the Portal “Diya”.

In order to receive a subsidy, a person must sign the submitted documents within the specified period or send new ones – with a signature.

At the same time, the 30-day period from the moment of submission of the first application to correct the error can be extended for the duration of the applicant's illness. At the same time, the fact of the disease must be documented (Regulations on the procedure for assigning housing subsidies, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 21.10.1995 No. 848).
