The former manager of Boryspil Airport and UIA Dyhne was sentenced to five years in prison

The VAKS panel of judges found him and the head of the lease relations service guilty of abuse of office.

On March 1, the board of judges of the VAX announced the verdict of the former head of Boryspil airport and UIA Yevgenia Dykhneand the head of the lease relations service were found guilty of abuse of office. This caused more than UAH 15.7 million in damages, the press service of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office reports.

During 2014-2019, officials of the state-owned enterprise transferred premises to business entities on the basis of pre-lease contracts. However, it turned out that the above-mentioned property belongs to the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and only the State Property Fund has the right to lease it according to the appropriate tender procedure.

Yevgeny Dykhna was sentenced to five years in prison, and the head of the lease relations service was sentenced to four years in prison with the deprivation of the right to hold positions related to the performance of organizational, managerial or administrative and economic functions, for a term of three years and with a fine in the amount of UAH 8.5 thousand. The court's verdict can be appealed within thirty days.
