The object, which Putin called an “antenna” for blasting the Nord Stream, was raised from the bottom of the sea

It turned out to be a sea buoy. As empty as Putin's accusations.

The object that Putin named

The unknown object, which Russian President Vladimir Putin called an “antenna” for conducting blasts on “Nord Stream-2” turned out to be an empty smoke buoy, the Danish Energy Agency reported.

The found object was raised from the seabed and examined. According to the Agency, the smoke buoy is empty and does not pose a danger.

“Investigations indicate that the object is an empty marine smoke buoy used for visual marking. The facility does not pose a security threat,” the agency said.

Last week, Denmark invited the Russian-controlled Nord Stream operator to help raise the facility. A representative of Nord Stream 2 AG was present during the operation, which was carried out at a depth of 73 meters.
