An FSB agent was detained in Odesa, who was filming the positions of the Ukrainian military on a hidden video recorder. This was reported by the SBU press service.
According to the special services, the traitor was interested in intelligence on the number of personnel and military equipment, current information on the defense capability and combat readiness of military facilities.
The Russian agent turned out to be a local resident – an active supporter of “Russian world”. He was guided not only by ideological motives, because he expected to get a “position” in the occupation administration, in case of capture of the region by the Russians. He used a video recorder hidden in the cabin of his own car to record military objects. He saved the collected information on a memory card, which he planned to hand over to the enemy,” the SBU added.
The traitor was detained while trying to pass intelligence to the enemy, and during the search, a hidden video recorder and data carriers with evidence of treason were found in his possession. He is currently taken into custody.
