After the shelling by the Russians in the Dnipro of the Southern Machine-Building Plant named after O. M. Makarova (Pivdenmash)'s information began to spread about the alleged leak of a component of rocket fuel – heptyl, which is extremely dangerous for humans. However, the Teroboron refuted this fake and told what really happened, reports the Center for Countering Disinformation at the NSDO.

“What really happened? The Russians hit the Southern Machine-Building Plant with six missiles. The occupiers could indeed cause a leak of heptyl and commit a terrorist attack comparable in scale to a nuclear disaster. However, even at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, heptyl and its derivatives were urgently disposed of at Pivdenmash, the local Terrodefense Headquarters reported,” the report says.

This means that there was no leak of heptyl. The CPD noted that rumors about the leakage of a harmful substance are being spread by the enemy in order to sow panic among Ukrainians.
