USA promises to announce another package of aid to Ukraine

A new package of military aid to Ukraine was announced on Friday by the coordinator of the US National Security Council for strategic communications John Kirby, reports “European Truth”.

Kirby said that the new package will be announced “very soon”, but declined to specify what it will include.

“You can expect to see the same things , as in the military aid you've already seen,” Kirby clarified at a closed briefing held on Friday.

The United States and its partners and allies have pledged to transfer more than 20 missile systems to Ukraine in total HIMARS volley fire. 12 of them are already fighting against the Russian invaders.

On July 22, the US officially announced the allocation of a new package of military aid for Ukraine, which includes 4 HIMARS complexes and 580 drones.

The total amount of military aid to Ukraine from the Joe Biden administration is 8.2 billion dollars. It will be recalled that in May the US Senate voted to allocate $40 billion at the disposal of the president. This money is intended to help Ukraine, as well as to fight the global consequences of the war. In addition, the Lend-Lease Law was adopted and signed by Biden, which will come into effect when the funds for other programs, under which Ukraine receives military and humanitarian aid from the United States, run out.
