US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on Tuesday intends to announce new aid to restore energy infrastructure destroyed by Russian attacks. About this is reported by Reuters
On Monday evening, Blinken arrived in Romania to hold a series of meetings with NATO allies and G7 foreign ministers on Tuesday.
According to sources, Washington is currently working with the American utilities and equipment suppliers, as well as with European countries, to find equipment that can help restore energy infrastructure damaged by Russian missiles.
“Blinken will use Tuesday's meeting of a new coordination group with questions e of energy, which includes the G7 and other countries, to talk about the fact that the United States has already been able to mobilize and about plans to deliver equipment to Ukraine as soon as possible in the next few weeks, and will also call on partners to do the same,” the interlocutor of the publication said.< /p>
