Memorial or Father's Saturdays are days of commemoration of deceased relatives and loved ones. On holidays, the church commemorates all baptized Orthodox Christians who have died or died.

On holidays it is customary to go to church and attend a service. In addition, it is necessary to put a candle for repose, as well as pray for the deceased.

You can also give the priest a piece of paper with the name of the deceased or deceased, it will be read during the funeral service.

In it is customary for the church to bring products for the needs of the parish, as well as to give alms. It is also customary to do charity work on memorial Saturday.

It is also advisable to visit the cemetery. If the snow has already melted, it must be removed from the grave. At the same time, not only the graves of loved ones should be cleaned, but also the neglected ones.
