Not only has there been no hot water in homes since May 10, but it was not very hot before. In addition, residents of Kyiv are charged for non-existent services.
Residents of two districts of Kyiv, which are supplied with heat and hot water by “Euro-reconstruction” LLC, have started collecting signatures for a petition to change the heat supply company. The petition was published on the Kyiv City Council website.
“Due to the lack of hot water supply from May 10 to the present time and constant postponements of repairs and restoration of hot water supply, and before that constant underheating of water to the approved temperature by the Euro-reconstruction company in the Dnipro and Darnytsia districts, I am asking to change the provider of these services to Euro-reconstruction , as a supplier that does not fulfill its obligations to the citizens of Kyiv, charging fees for non-existent services,” the petition says.
We will remind you that “Euro-reconstruction” LLC is engaged in the maintenance of the Darnytskyi CHP, which supplies heat to industrial enterprises and residential areas of the Dnipro and Darnytskyi districts of Kyiv. The station heats about 8% of Kyiv's residential area (4.5 million square meters, or 1,036 residential buildings and over 120 schools and medical institutions). The comfort of 270,000 residents of the Left Bank depends on its work.
The National Commission for State Regulation in the Energy and Utilities Sectors (NKREKP) has repeatedly imposed fines on “Euro- reconstruction” due to violation of license conditions for the supply of not only heat and hot water, but also electricity.
However, the NCRECP forgave the company one of the last fines in connection with the introduction of martial law.
And decided to direct the specified funds to the implementation of measures to ensure the stable operation of the company during completion of the 2022/2023 heating season. The funds must be spent by October 15, 2022.
We remind you that consumers of “Euro-Reconstruction” LLC have been without hot water since the first decade of May. After the hot water did not return on time, after conducting hydraulic tests, the company promised to restore the service to consumers several times. The penultimate time – until July 31. Now the estimated date of completion of the works is until August 25, 2022.
