Payments for families with adopted children: how to get 6,600 hryvnias

Due to Russia's military aggression, many Ukrainians left their homes and became internally displaced persons (IDPs). IDPs can receive payments from international organizations. The Children's Villages SOS charity fund explained who can issue payments and what documents are required for this.

Who can receive payments

These categories include families from among foster families, family-type children's homes and guardian families, in which at least one orphan child or a child deprived of parental care is raised from 12 regions of Ukraine (Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk).

How to issue payments from SOS “Children's Town”

One family can submit no more than one application (1 person per family is registered). Families that have already participated in the program cannot receive assistance again.

Registration of applications for participation in the cash assistance program will continue until March 31, 2023.

To register for assistance, you must fill out form at the link.

The amount of monetary assistance is UAH 2,200 per family member (one parent and children under 18). Payments are made once a month for three months.

  • A copy of the applicant's passport;
  • A copy of the applicant's identification code;
  • A copy of the IDP certificate (if available);
  • Copy of the decision to create a PS/DBST, for guardianship – the decision of the guardianship/guardianship/court;
  • Copy of the children's birth certificate;
  • Copy of the bank statement or bank application about the details of the card of the applicant (IBAN number).

Also, the applicant must write a statement and give consent to the collection and processing of his personal data and the data of his children. The original application and consent must be sent to the organization's address by Nova Poshta.

Payment will be made only after receiving the original application and consent to the processing of personal data.
