Despite the war in Ukraine, you can apply for sick leave and receive payment for it, except for cases when a person was injured or fell ill due to drug or alcohol intoxication.

According to the results of the Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine (FSSU) 11 months of 2022, temporary disability benefits increased by UAH 58.7, writes “Social Information Platform”.
If last year on average UAH 372.72 was paid for one day of sick leave, this year 431.42 hryvnias.
Information on the status of sick leave funding is published in the FSSU Telegram channel. At the same time, you need to focus on the date of acceptance of the application-settlement, which can be clarified with the employer.
As of December 22, the FSSU financed the provision of hospital and maternity benefits based on the application-settlement submitted by employers until December 12 (100%).
To receive sick pay directly, if the employer is located in the temporarily occupied territory, you need to contact the FSSU branch at the place of registration as an IDP or registration.
