The Sun has entered the active phase of its cycle, so magnetic storms have become more frequent on Earth. One of these events is likely to cover our planet over the weekend, according to data from the space weather tracking site Spaceweather.

It is noted that on February 28, the Sun released a M8.6 class flare, which was accompanied by a coronal mass ejection. The stream of plasma is rushing towards our planet and will reach it on Saturday, March 4.

Scientists predict that on this day the Earth will be covered by a magnetic storm of category G1, weak.
