Kyiv the subway will run an hour longer

After shortening the curfew in Kyiv the subway and other public transport will run an hour longer, Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said.

“From March 26, the metro and ground public transport will change their work schedule in accordance with the curfew – that is, they will work one hour longer,” the mayor said.

Currently, the Kyiv metro operates from 06:00 to 22:00. At the same time, most stations in the evening close at the entrance at 21:30 and work already at the exit. The approximate interval of trains on all lines is 8-10 minutes, and during peak hours the interval between trains may be shortened.

At the same time as the introduction of new curfew restrictions, the subway will operate until 11:30 p.m. for departure and until 10 p.m. :30 for the entrance.

The last metro trains from the terminal stations will depart at 22:30 instead of 21:30, and will arrive at the opposite end of the line at approximately 23:30.

Also until 11:30 p.m. the transfer hubs will be open: Golden Gate – Teatralna; Leo Tolstoy Square – Palace of Sports and Khreshchatyk – Maidan.

Let's assume that metro trains pass through Dnipro and Hydropark stations without stopping Also, subway service is suspended on open ground sections during an air alert. On the “red line” the metro runs from the Akademmistechko station to the Arsenalna station and back. On the “green branch”, trains run in both directions between Syrets-Vydubychi and Slavutych-Chervony Khutir stations.

We remind you that it is planned to shorten the curfew in Kyiv and the Kyiv region from March 26. It will last from 00:00 to 5:00 in the morning.
