Entourage of the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak has closed the entire arms market in Ukraine, virtually monopolizing the industry. However, these people have a trail of arms smuggling in the past and connections with Russian special services. This is stated in the article of the publication “Our money”.
In June, a state-owned enterprise “Agency for Defense Procurement” was created in Ukraine, which has the right to independently carry out weapons purchases and form the expected costs for these purchases. The agency does not yet have a full-fledged head, however, according to Censor.net, the enterprise will be under the influence of Deputy Minister of Defense Denis Sharapov. He is a business partner of Andriy Yermak, the head of the Office of the President. They were the beneficiaries of the “Media Group of the European Partnership” LLC together with the Russian Rahamim Emanuilov.
In the late 1990s, he was a senior operational officer of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, then he went into business and became the founder of the aforementioned firm back in 2001. At that time, it had a different name, “International Agency for Property Issues”, and its director was the father of the head of the President's Office, Boris Yermak. According to “Novynarna”, he is a former employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Russia.

Under Yanukovych, Sharapov became the first deputy director of the Ukroboronservice state-owned enterprise, and his sister Daria Sharapova became a co-owner of Ukraine-DR Congo Trading House LLC. And it was from the Congo that Ukraine had significant turnover in the field of arms supplies.
After the election of President Zelenskyi and the appointment of Yermak as the head of the OP Sharapov became the first deputy minister for strategic industries of Ukraine. And already on April 9, he was appointed to the post of Deputy Minister of Defense.
It is interesting that another business partner of Yermak and Sharapov in the “Media Group of European Partnership” LLC, the Russian Rahamim Emanuilov, has long-standing connections with Russian intelligence. All this, according to the author of the article and the editor-in-chief of “Our Money” Yury Nikolov, does not directly prove that Yermak's people trade in weapons, and his father is a Russian spy.
“However, this is the number of Russian special services,” writes Yuriy Nikolov. – In such a sensitive area as the arms trade (and even more so, for a monopoly arms dealer), it is still stressful. Are there no people with more decent biographies in all of Ukraine? Because all this creates a field for suspicions and hostile IPSO attacks”.

As “Detektor Media” noticed, at first the publication published an article with the headline “NATO and the EU sound the alarm over arms smuggling by Ukraine”, and then corrected it: “NATO and the EU sound the alarm over the risk of arms smuggling by Ukraine.” Later, the European Police Department did not confirm these assumptions and stated that there is only a potential threat of such cases, however, they expressed full confidence in the Ukrainian authorities regarding the supply of weapons. US Deputy Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Bonnie Jenkins is sure that the American weapons provided to Ukraine will not end up in the wrong hands.
