President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced new sanctions in his evening address.

“There is a new sanction step of ours against individuals and legal entities associated with the evil state. These are more than 280 companies and 120 people who worked against Ukraine through gambling business schemes.

The decision was prepared for some time, it closes schemes worth tens of billions. This is not the last decision. Ukraine will defend itself everywhere and by all civilized means,” Zelenskyy said.

According to Presidential Decree No. 145/2023 of March 10, 2023, personal special economic sanctions are imposed for 50 years against 120 people. Most of them are citizens of Russia.
