The new minister should be appointed already this week.
The Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Education, Science and Innovation supported the resignation of Minister of Education Serhiy Skarlet, People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak announced on Monday.
On Friday it became known that Serhii Shkarlet has written a statement about his resignation.
On Sunday, March 19, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal confirmed that this week will appoint new ministers of education and strategic branches of industry.
Zorkrem will become the minister of education and science instead of Serhiy Shkarlet, scientist, director of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and volunteer Oksen Lisovyi. It is known that Lisovyi successfully passed the interview for this position earlier, and his candidacy is supported in the parliament.

The Ministry of Strategic Industry instead Pavel Ryabikin will be headed by the former head of Ukrzaliznytsia, Oleksandr Kamyshin. At the same time, Ryabikin himself will probably go to China as the ambassador of Ukraine.
